Fire Trucks

The old metal antique toy fire trucks are great collectibles for a young boy. The trucks are virtually indestructible and rebuilding them teaches construction skills as well as an appreciation for an artful hobby.
Old estate sales and antique hobby shops are a great place to find antique fire trucks for sale.
My son loves his toy fire trucks and ambulances. For his birthday we used a matchbox toy fire truck with blue lights and an ambulance for cake decorations. His dad is a fireman so we arranged for a photo shoot in the fire truck with his new dalmation puppy. Using a fire truck picture frame we framed a picture of him and his new puppy in the towns truck with a fireman's hat. My son love his fire fighter birthday party!
